Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms of Service apply to all purchases made through dobriarts.au. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Dobri Arts AU reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order confirmation applies. We recommend checking this page regularly for updates.

2. Orders & Confirmation

All orders are considered final upon receipt of a written order confirmation from Dobri Arts AU. You will receive a confirmation email to the address provided at checkout, including your order number, delivery address, and item specifications.

Please review your confirmation carefully. If you notice any discrepancies, contact us within 24 hours at hello@dobriarts.au.

By purchasing from Dobri Arts AU, you agree to receive order-related communications electronically. Electronic messages carry the same legal weight as written correspondence.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and bank transfer for large orders.

Ready to ship items: Full payment required at checkout.

Made to order items: 50% deposit required to commence production. Remaining 50% due prior to dispatch.

Custom orders: 100% prepayment required before production begins.

Dobri Arts AU reserves the right to cancel any order where payment has not been received in full.

4. Products & Handcraft Notice

All Dobri Arts AU products are handcrafted in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India by master craftsmen. Each piece is made by hand using solid mango wood, sheesham, or teak.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, no two pieces are identical. Natural variations in wood grain, colour, texture, distressing, and dimensions are to be expected. These are characteristics of genuine handcraft — not defects.

Wood is a living material and will naturally adapt to its environment. Minor cracking along grain lines may occur over time, particularly in dry climates. This is normal and does not constitute a manufacturing fault.

Product images on our website are representative. The piece you receive may differ slightly in shade, texture, or minor detail from the images shown.

5. Delivery

Perth Metro: Free delivery. Delivered by our Perth-based team.

Australia Wide: Flat rate shipping applies. Large sculptures and furniture items may incur additional freight charges — we will contact you prior to dispatch with a confirmed quote.

Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address is accessible and that someone is available to receive the goods.

If delivery is unsuccessful due to no access or no one present, re-delivery charges may apply.

Lead times: Ready to ship items dispatch within 5–7 business days. Made to order items require 6–8 weeks production plus transit time. We will provide tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated delivery timeframes are indicative only. Dobri Arts AU is not liable for delays caused by freight carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Inspection & Damage Claims

Please inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt. If you notice any transit damage, note it on the delivery consignment note before signing.

Any damage or discrepancy must be reported to hello@dobriarts.au within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photographic evidence. Retain all original packaging — items returned without original packaging may not be accepted.

Claims submitted after 48 hours or without image documentation cannot be accepted.

7. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for items that arrive faulty or not as described.

Returns are not accepted for:

• Change of mind
• Natural variations in wood grain, colour, or texture
• Made to order or custom items
• Items that have been used, assembled, or altered

If a return is approved, return freight costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is confirmed faulty by Dobri Arts AU.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.

8. Custom Orders

Custom size, finish, or design requests are welcome. Custom orders require 100% prepayment and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

Lead time for custom orders is 8–12 weeks from payment confirmation. We will keep you updated with progress photos throughout production.

9. Ownership of Goods

Ownership of all goods remains with Dobri Arts AU until full payment has been received and cleared.

10. Privacy & Data

Personal information collected at checkout is used solely to process and deliver your order. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where required for delivery purposes (freight carriers).

By purchasing from dobriarts.au you agree to receive order-related communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

11. Force Majeure

Dobri Arts AU is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, shipping disruptions, customs delays, pandemics, or supplier issues.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
