Refund Policy

Every piece we make is handcrafted specifically for you — and only you.
Because each item is made to order by our craftsmen in Jodhpur, Rajasthan — cut, carved, and finished for your specific order — we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. We ask that you read our product descriptions carefully, review dimensions, and contact us with any questions before placing your order. We are always happy to help you choose the right piece.
Change of Mind
Not Accepted
Each piece is made to order. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind once production has commenced.
Transit Damage
Full Replacement
If your item is damaged in transit, we will replace it with a new piece at no cost to you. No questions asked.
The following are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or replacement:
- — Natural variations in wood grain, colour, or texture — these are characteristics of genuine solid wood
- — Slight differences in shade or finish from website images — handcrafted pieces are unique by nature
- — Minor marks, tool impressions, or surface variations inherent to hand carving
- — Small hairline cracks in wood grain — a natural result of wood adapting to new environments and humidity levels
- — Change of mind after order confirmation
- — Damage caused after delivery — misuse, improper assembly, or unsuitable environment
We take great care in packaging every piece. If your item arrives damaged due to transit, we will make it right. Here is what to do:
Inspect on delivery
Check your item before signing the delivery note. If visible damage is present, note it on the consignment note.
Contact us within 48 hours
Email us at dobriartsau@gmail.com or WhatsApp +61 485 705 265 within 48 hours of delivery. Claims after 48 hours cannot be accepted.
Send photos
Provide clear photos of the damage and original packaging. Retain all packaging — it may be required for the insurance claim.
We send a replacement
Once damage is confirmed, we will begin production of your replacement piece immediately. No additional cost to you.
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund. After 24 hours, production may have already commenced and cancellations cannot be accepted. For custom orders, no cancellation is possible once payment has been received and confirmed. If you need to cancel or have any concerns, please contact us as soon as possible at dobriartsau@gmail.com.

We ask that you embrace the natural character of handcrafted wood. The variations, marks, and textures are not imperfections — they are the fingerprints of the craftsman who built your piece. They are what make it yours alone.
